Yalıköy is a seaside town in the Fatsa district.
It is located on the old road between Samsun and Ordu. With the completion of the Black Sea Coastal Highway in 2008, the town located outside the road and therefore, its natural structure has been preserved.

The main livelihoods of the region are hazelnut, fishery and corn. The bread and meatballs are famous in the town. Many fish restaurants are located around the Yalıköy fishing port. Daily and fresh fish are always available here.
